Pre-School Photographer/Sales Representative

$26k to $35k per year + Fuel Reimbursement, Medical, Dental, Vision, & 401k plan

WE ARE: Teddy Bear Portraits by Nationwide Studios, Inc., a Children’s Portraiture business, servicing 39 states for over 40 years. We have territories in over 70 metro areas across the United States.

What We Do: Our employees drive to local daycares and preschools in their assigned territory to:
1. Market the Teddy Bear Portrait services to the owner/director in order to obtain a future photography booking date.
2. Photograph children aged 6 weeks to 5 years of age
3. Sell portrait packages to the parents

You can do one, two or all three of these positions.

Our employees work Monday-Friday (no weekends). Here is how the weekly schedule breaks down:

2 mornings/afternoons per week: The Sales Representative aspect of the position requires driving to daycares/preschools to market the Teddy Bear Portrait services to the daycare director or owner in order to obtain a future photography booking date.

2 to 3 mornings per week: The Photographer aspect of the position requires driving to center early on the morning of the photography session. Typically, the photographs need to be taken between 7am " noon. That means that the photographer has to leave home early in the morning in order to drive to the daycare and set up the background/photography equipment. Setting up the equipment usually takes a new hire 1 hour; after becoming used to setting up the equipment, it usually takes 30 minutes.

2 to 3 afternoons per week: The Portrait Consultant aspect of the position requires returning to the day care 2 weeks after the photography session to sell portrait packages to the parents during child pick-up time (usually 3pm to 6pm).


We will provide the necessary training and tools to help you be successful. A strong work ethic will be rewarded with above average income, independence, and a wholesome and fun environment.
