Description:Department: Merchandise (Photo Operations)Reports to: Supervisor Pay: $10.25/hr. Status: Seasonal Availability: Two days of unrestricted availability during the non-peak season and 4 days during the peak season Hours: Up to 40 hours per week during peak season; up to 28 hours per week during non-peak. Basic Job functions: Enthusiastically represents SeaWorld by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job. Provide exemplary guest service in the photography operation by taking photos at the various photo shoots, and venues around the park, assisting in the processing and printing of the photos as well as interacting with the guests and ensuring a quality and memorable experience. Principle Duties: Ensure excellent customer service by responding to customer requirements, expectations, and needs. Photographers are ambassadors of the company, and should be able to answer guests' questions and provide park information (e.g. Shamu show schedule) to guests that they would not normally have without talking with a park employee. Take digital photographs of guests. Sell photos and assist guests with purchasing photographs. Occasionally assist other locations and areas in the park as needed. Required Skills Knowledge: Must be at least 18 years of age and have good computer skills. Must have the ability to confidently approach and interact favorably with a diverse population of guests, including children of all ages, to ensure excellent guest service. Must have strong verbal skills (proficient in English language) including ability to speak and interact with groups of people. Must possess "star quality" with the ability to represent Busch Entertainment Corporation (BEC) as an Ambassador of our company. Able to work independently for extended periods of time. Able to multi-task and work in a team environment. Able to follow a schedule and instructions. Basic math and cash handling skills and the ability to up-sell. Must be able to learn to use a digital camera and PhotoShop technology. Must be comfortable working with or around animals and/or in water for positions where water and animals are present. Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment. Must be able to lift or move up to 20lbs. Required Training Education: Previous photography experience is preferred. After obtaining the position, the following are required to perform the job: Company Orientation, Department Training, Cash Register Training and Guest Service Training. Additional training as needed.
