Muslim Photographer Required For Architectural Photography - Travel Industry

Reporting directly to the Head of Photography, our Photographers are an integral part of our team, and are responsible for shooting stunning hotel and destination images, as well as being the liaison between VRX and our end clients.

As a Photographer for VRX Studios, you will shoot specific hotels within Saudi Arabia. Assignments can range in duration between 1-30 days in a row depending on our client’s schedules.

This opportunity is perfect for the photographer wishing to gain hands on experience with architectural photography instead of returning to school, or for freelance photographers that are looking to compliment an existing portfolio to include architectural images. *This position is not a fit for photographers that charge many hundreds or thousands of dollars a day per assignment*.

There will be training with this position. Photographers chosen for the position will be responsible for attending 5 days of training here in Vancouver.

To be considered for the position you must:
• Be Muslim
• be available to shoot anywhere between 1-30 days in a row.
• be prepared to work on average 10 hour days (shooting and file management)
• own a laptop (Mac or Windows OS)
• have a valid non US passport
• have no travel restrictions
• have a valid credit card with a minimum of 2K available for expenses (which will be re-reimbursed)
• sign a contract which will include a non-compete clause that prohibits you from competing against VRX Studios during the contract and for 1 year after completion of your contract
• have a pleasant personality and be an effective communicator
• have a passion for architectural photography

It is preferred that you have the following equipment:
• own a Nikon D300 camera with 12-24mm lens and 18-200mm lens or above*or Canon 5D with 16-36mm lens and 28-135 or 28-200mm lens and remote control or above*
• *Greater than 13.0 Mega Pixels and must shoot NEF or RAW
• SB800 Flash for Nikon with diffuser, or Canon Speedlite 430EX or 580EXll
