Description:What is ActionLink?ActionLink is a National product demonstration/sales/merchandising company. Our team of charismatic, articulate, sales oriented demonstrators is sought by the top names in the electronics field; Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba, AOL (America Online) NetGear, Maxtor, Klipsch, Yamaha, Belkin, and Bose to name a few. We help impact sales through quality demonstrations of the latest, most innovative products in stores such as Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA, Office Depot, Wal-Mart, MicroCenter, Tweeter, Fry?s, FedEx Kinko?s and many other national retailers. ActionLink promotes products and services by demonstrating products and services, merchandising and creating high quality retail presentations, educating consumers, conducting retail training, and leveraging the competitive advantages of our clients and their products. Our programs are quality and results driven, with overall emphasis on helping our clients achieve stated goals, and improve retail placement, sell through and retailer perception. What does the job entail? -Attend and complete training as assigned by management. -Develop a sufficient understanding of basic consumer electronics technology, manufacturers and retailers needed to successfully participate in the assigned project. -Demonstrate features and benefits of the product you are representing to consumers and in-store retail sales staff, using store devices and provided materials. -Evangelize the product you are representing and it?s products to everyone you encounter in the retail environment by explaining quality, innovation and price points and comparing your product favorably to other brands and models. -Drive retail sales increases through increased awareness and by directly influencing customer product choices in retail stores. -Report activities, store opportunities and any outstanding issues to ActionLink and/or the client in a timely manner using provided forms and other communication tools as appropriate. -Adhere to all company policies and procedures as provided by ActionLink management. -Complete any other tasks, duties or responsibilities as assigned by management. -ActionLink demonstrators primarily work on the weekends, for an assigned project, for a set amount of time? Then you would be notified of the next assignment available to see if you are interested and able to complete it! What qualifications do I need? -High school diploma, some college preferred -Retail or equivalent experience -Dependable, reliable transportation to and from the assignment -Personal computer with internet access (broadband preferred) with daily email access -Home telephone or mobile phone (preferred) -Physical mailing address to receive occasional UPS or FEDEX shipments -Ability to use basic word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and email software What do I get paid? -Competitive hourly rate to start, between $14 - $17 per hour, with bi-weekly direct deposit payroll and the ability to earn increases -Between 10 and 14 hours per weekend plus weekday work when available. -Manufacturer discounts on select programs If interested please email your resume to tlengyel AT actionlink.com.
