Free Lance Photographer Wanted to Cover 100s of Hotels in Louisiana and Mississippi " Long-Term Independent Contract Relationship

VRX Studios, voted by Profit Magazine as one of the Fastest Growing Companies, has a fantastic opportunity for a free lance contract photographer located in New Orleans to maintain the rich media content for 100s of hotels in Louisiana and the surrounding areas.

Liaising with VRX’s Head of Photography, you will work as an independent business contractor from your own home, business, or studio. You will be responsible for creating stunning still images and virtual tours of hotels and attractions.

Overview of Photography Services Contract:

As a Regional Free Lance Contract Photographer for VRX Studios, you will photograph hotels and attractions within California. From time to time, some additional travel may be assigned outside of California or the US. Assignments will be between 1-45 days depending on your availability and VRX’s business needs. VRX provides assistance with scheduling and arranging each photo shoot. Due to the nature of the travel industry, there is no guarantee of the consistency or amount of contract work. Assignments will be offered at VRX’s discretion. Depending on how much contract work you perform for VRX, you will be able to continue with other work or business. You are not required to accept VRX contract assignments; however, for such relationships to be mutually beneficial, we do ask that our free lance contract photographers be readily available on short notice.

To successfully perform the contract services, you must have the following:

• A Nikon D300 with a 12-24mm and 18-200mm lens, or
A Canon 5D with a 16-36mm and 28-135 or 28-200mm lens
• High speed internet access from your home, business or studio
• A cell phone with unlimited nationwide coverage
• A strong background in photography and professional service

VRX is looking to establish a long-term business relationship. Preference will be given to contract photographers who can commit to a business relationship of a year or more, preferably longer. In addition, you and your business will be required to sign and abide by a strict non-compete agreement.

Fees

Contract service fees are paid on a daily rate and VRX will reimburse pre-approved business expenses, including: meals, mileage and accommodations.

Familiarization and Contract Process

To determine whether a business relationship is viable, a two-week familiarization period is required prior to entering into a services contract. Initial familiarization will be conducted in Vancouver or a central area within the continental US and will be provided at no cost. You will be responsible for covering your own travel costs for familiarization, including: meals, transportation and accommodation. VRX reserves the right not to contract with photographers that cannot meet its core service standards. In such circumstances, VRX will have no further obligation to you whatsoever.
