Reporting directly to VRX?s Head of Photography, you will work from your own home and be responsible for creating stunning still images and virtual tours of hotels and attractions throughout your designated region.

Overview of Position:

As a Regional Photographer for VRX Studios, you will photograph hotels and attractions within Georgia. From time to time, some additional travel may be required outside of your region or the US. Assignments will be between 1-45 days depending on VRX?s client?s needs. VRX will schedule your time accordingly; however, due to the nature of the travel industry VRX is not able to guarantee full-time work. You must be available at all times and with short notice.

To successfully fulfill this role, you must have the following:

? A Nikon D300 with a 12-24mm and 18-200mm lens, or
A Canon 5D with a 16-36mm and 28-135 or 28-200mm lens
? A working, insured and presentable automobile
? High speed internet access from your home
? A cell phone with unlimited nationwide coverage
? A valid passport without travel restrictions
? A valid credit card to cover (recoverable) travel expenses
? A pleasant, outgoing and professional demeanor
? A strong understanding of business and customer service
? A passion for the travel industry and architectural photography

A minimum one year commitment is required, preferably longer. Many of our existing photographers have been with us for over five years. In addition, you will be required to sign and abide by a strict non-compete agreement.

Compensation

You will be paid a daily photography rate and VRX will reimburse you for all pre-approved business expenses, including: meals, mileage and accommodations.

Training

This position requires extensive training for a two week period, upon being hired, and ongoing training throughout the year. Your initial training will be conducted in Vancouver or a central area within the continental US and will be provided at no cost; you will be responsible for covering your own travel costs for training, including: meals, transportation and accommodation. To successfully complete the hiring process, you must pass training.
