PT Electronics Store Front Manager!
Position Summary: The SFMR is responsible for all aspects of client support including but not limited to training, sales support, merchandising, demonstration and special events. The goal of the store front management program is to ultimately increase sales for the client and as such the SFMR is responsible for increasing sales for all Mitsubishi products that fall under the program specifications. Position Qualifications: Minimum requirement of a High School diploma with a preferred 2+ yr. college degree and a minimum of six months electronics training or electronics sales retail experience. Be thoroughly knowledgeable about all Best Buy, Circuit City and other selected retailer requirements. Have no prior experience of having any issues in any retailer chain. Have the ability to present to large groups ( over 50 attendees). Representatives can not have an adverse feeling around presenting to large groups. Prior proven sales ability is preferred. Awareness of margins, retail sales incentives, etc is desired. ---Representatives must be willing to drive throughout the market on a regular basis and have a reliable transportation to do so. Position Knowledge and Abilities: •Be computer literate with a thorough knowledge of PDF files, JPEG files, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Reporting, sales tracking, compliance reports will be Excel based and a thorough understanding of excel is needed. •Be retail sales savvy and be able to demonstrate this by reporting sales successes. •Ability to work without constant supervision. •Have a thorough knowledge base of the technology surrounding the category of home theater. •Be forward thinkers and problem solvers going above and beyond the requests of the client or the retailer. Although subjective this is a critical piece. The representative must have the mentality of going above and beyond the scope of the project. •Be professional and presentable. The representative is an extension of the client’s team and needs to portray the image of the client. •Representative should be a self starter and be able to schedule time effectively. Prior experience of working on programs that are flexible is a plus. •Representatives must be available for weekends and weekdays with a flexible schedule to allow for changes throughout the program. Position Duties •Training oTraining retail staff on clients products, messaging, sales enabling skills, promotions, etc. oFormal and informal in-store and special event trainings as opportunities arise oWorks with store management to schedule formal training sessions ( lunch and learn, Sunday morning store launch trainings, etc) •Sales Support oIdentifies sales opportunities at store level ( ad’s, inventory and traffic awareness) oSchedules and conducts sales events at store level oInsures inventory issues either too high or out of stock is communicated to the client and retailer appropriately. oEvent Merchandising Works with client to get 100% compliance for all event stores prior to the event taking place. •Price and spec signage is accurate at all times Identifies and captures flex space opportunities with store approval Places approved event signage and POP, as needed. Identifies additional signage opportunities at store level and communicates them to management. •Reporting oAccurately completes call reports, within 24 hours. oIndicates hot items as they arise oCommunicates with pictures competitive information and opportunities oIdentifies competitive advantages and submits ides to combat at local level oCommunicates through e-mail and web boards as needed to insure all critical time sensitive information is given to the proper management oReads sales ranking reports and identifies stores needing additional support This position is starting out at 15 hours a week, including weekends. Mileage and drive time are paid to get to these stores.
