The Lawrence Journal-World and 6News in Lawrence, Kansas, leaders in multimedia storytelling, are seeking a Visual Director to lead a staff of print / online photographers and television videographers who are merging into a single department. This position is about 50% administrative and 50% content generation. Successful candidates should have an outstanding portfolio in print and video storytelling; proven management or team leader experience; experience creating photo illustrations and front-page design, with photo toning also preferred.
